Dante has left us some verses about the Sanctuary in Canto XI of Paradiso (“the rugged Stone between the Tevero and the Arno”) which was so valued by Saint Francesco. Another great artist who was born near Caprese, was Michelangelo Buonarroti. Apart from the town of Arezzo (45km) and Florence (70km) it is easy to reach Umbria thanks to the nearby accessible highway E 45.
The apartments are well finished, tastefully decorated and centrally heated. Satellite television is also avaliable in every apartment.
Thanks to the use of solar panels one can produce energy without ecological damage and in the total respect of the ambient.
To complete the picture there is a fabulous swimming pool (6 x 12 m) situated in the sunniest, most panoramic position. Near the swimming pool there is a small wellness center with sauna and whirlpoolbath. Many other services are available to our guests - a barbecue and outside tables to prepare picnics, a laundry washing machines, mountain bikes and other games for children, including a lovely wooden playhouse.
The agriturismo forms part of a larger farm which is 18 hectors and includes a wood and 3 hectors of aboriculture wood but the most typical production is that of Christmas Trees, that are planted and harvested in equal measures by the farm. Especially during the summer, the guests are offered numerous organic produce which comes directly from the farm fields.
